Introduction to Community and History


Once there were red foxes and cougars in the hills above Encino and the valley floor was covered by Encino oaks hundreds of years old. Nowadays it's just coyotes coming down from the hills and the ancient oaks are dying one by one. This section is a tribute and memoir to Los Encinos State Historic Park and old Encino.
